JoJo our first Labrador. He was part lumberjack
and enjoyed playing fetch. His attitude with this
was the bigger the better. He once brought a tree
trunk to Marc.

Stormie, pictured here on the left was a rescued
Aussie 10 years old. She was a great friend and

Bud
Shaad
Shaad a 1985 Arabian was Erin's long time
companion. The two have so many memories
from Erin's first date with Marc to many patrols
throughout Heasperia with the Hesperia
Equestrian Patrol. It's especially hard to loose
such a close friend as Erin and Shaad have
been together since Erin was 14 and Shaad 6

Lana
Lana a 2003 Friesian was our first foal born at
One Tree Hill. Marc had a special bond with
Lana as he was there to watch the entire birth
with his niece Alissa. Lana was turning into quite
the nice horse with an awesome personality, a
smooth ride and fearless. She was in training for
the up coming Friesian Inspection when she had
inflammation of the colon. Lana was 3 years old
when she passed.

Opal
Opal a 1996 Friesian mare was our first Friesian
we had the privilege to own. Erin and Opal had a
very strong bond and it was hard when Opal
passed after colic surgery. Opal gave us three
beautiful foals Lana, Maximus and Petra.
Maximus and Petra are both now living with their
new owners. Opal is missed every year in
August. She was 9 years old when she passed.

Rambo
Rambo was a 1985 Morab gelding (half Morgan,
half Arabian) and was Marc's second horse. He
and Marc had 8 years of fun together and a very
strong bond. He was that irreplaceable horse.
Marc never thought he'd find another like
Rambo. The two could read each other's mind. It
was a friendship that was surely mutual on both
sides. Rambo was AWESOME! Rambo was 14

from Marc.. Bella lived a long life and was with us
from a kitten. She definitely was part of and a
member of our family. She lived in all three of our
houses with us. She was 13 when she passed.

Katie a 1999 Labrador we had since she was a
puppy. After picking her up a few weeks later her
sister Ember came to live with us too. Katie was an
awesome dog. She just wanted to be near you.
She'd come and sit next to Marc in the round pen
as he lunged the horses. Katie is 11 years old and
was getting hard of hearing and disappeared in
2010. After a search for her, we were never able
to find her. We can only hope she is making
someone a great companion somewhere.

Bud a 1983 Morgan came to us in 1999. Marc's
horse Rambo was having health issue's and a
Doctor at Erins work place was happy to see his
horse go to someone that had time for him. Bud
was a trusted horse and a gentle soul.
