Gerke was trained to ride and drive in Holland and has a year of training here in the U.S. with renowned Friesian
Horse Trainer Antonio Aldana. Gerke has put these skills to use in the show ring. Gerke has been shown in many
driving shows in the Southern California area including Ventura, Pomona, Tejon and Phelan competing in Pleasure
Shows and HDT's. Gerke has twice been the Friesian Horse Club of Southern California Amature Show Reserve
Champion and was the 2008 FHCSC Driving horse of the year.
